With the warm weather and water arriving it is time to start swimming again! But whether you are out floating in a pool, surfing in an ocean, or paddling through a lake, it’s important to keep your hair moisturized and protected from summer’s conditions. Chlorine, salt water, and the sun can cause your hair to dry out but by spraying a leave-in conditioner onto your hair at the end of your beach day, you can protect your hair while making it look shiny and healthy at the same time.
Take 1 cup of water and add a few mint leaves to it and bring it to a boil. Once it cools, strain it and add quarter to half a cup of jojoba oil to it, depending on how dry or oily your hair is. Take more oil if you have dry hair.
Transfer the contents to a spray bottle and keep in a cool place.
Shake well before each use and spray on damp hair before getting out of the shower. The conditioner will soften the hair from root to tip and also prevent any scalp infections.
