5-Day Core Challenge

It’s all in the core when it comes to surfing! Paddling, popping up, riding the wave and even just sitting out in the line up waiting for the next good wave, your core is #1. Every surfer needs a strong core to stay stable on their board. I have come up with a 5-day Core Challenge for all you surfers out there who want to up their game in and out of the water. Remember, you don’t need to be a surfer to try these moves! What you need: Stability Ball Yoga Mat (optional)   Day 1: Day one you will be doing some fundamental moves to activate and isolate your core. You will be holding each of these exercises until failure, so push through it! Your core should be burning! *Hold all these exercises for as long as possible, repeat all exercises 3-4 times* Move 1: Hallow back Pick your feet off the ground like shown and try to get your shoulder blades slightly off the ground with your hands above your head, make sure you are breathing and squeezing your core tight; hold until failure. There are insane fad diets all over the internet these days that I won’t let you fall into them! Instead of grabbing a $10 green drink after a long night (that you think will cure everything) try these easy fixes that will improve your overall health without spending crazy money. Those green drinks are great and super healthy, but also can put a hole in your pocket. Make life easy, follow these hacks! #1) HYDRATE! Most people walking around are extremely dehydrated. 5 Afternoon Habits For Healthy Weight Loss

Sticking to a healthy weight-loss plan sometimes seems like a full-time gig. You’ll soon find that making little changes to your old routine throughout the day can make all the difference. Starting the day off right is integral, but each of these afternoon habits will help keep your weight-loss goals on a path headed for success. Stay Hydrated Water is essential for healthy weight loss. Not only does top trainer Chris Powell suggest drinking warm water in order to stay full, but research has shown that drinking 16 ounces of water before meals is proven to help with weight loss. While this is a great habit, be sure to refill your water bottle throughout the day, or if you don’t get up that often, set an alarm to remind yourself to drink.
